I built the parlor guitar with some similarities to my dad's guitar. The back is 3 pieces, rosewood with a maple wedge. The neck is laminated Spanish cedar/maple/rosewood/maple/Spanish cedar, with a rosewood headstock veneer and maple veneered headstock back. I opted to go with black binding for the whole guitar. Real curious to see how it sounds when I'm done!
Well, the guitar for my dad, my parlor, and my LP are all now ready for final sanding and finishing. Can't wait to see these covered in nice glossy lacquer!

Its been a long time since I did an update. First of all I went back to work and worked a ton of overtime so didn't have a lot of spare time. During the past few months however I devoted most of my free time to a special build I was asked to do, a 40th anniversary present for my dad! My first set of sides did not bend properly so I reused them on a smaller size parlour just for kicks. Anyways, I'll be posting more in my blogs soon!
